I was such a bum yesterday. I sent out the emails, then I went and sorted all the stuff for signage and Daily Dragon, and I even packed it nice and neatly!
And, that was about it for accomplishments.
I didn't work on costumes, I didn't even start packing, all in all I did a whole lot of nothing. Well, I did sleep off and on. I even read some manga for a little while and pined over not having time to dive into drawing my own.
I have found that with my art, I am kind of an all or nothing sort of person. I don't like to start something knowing I can't devote full attention to it. It's almost like, if I don't start it, I won't miss it, or hurt as much over it when I have to stop to do something else. Actually, when I think about it, that may be true for all parts of my life. Hmm... something I will have to think about.
In any case, I am hoping to have the last of the changes to the schedule today. I am already starting on the Pocket Program book, at least as far as drawing/labeling maps, that sort of thing. It really needs to be at the printer's by Friday, but it wouldn't be the first time if it didn't make it until next Monday. I just hate being that kind of rushed. It helps that I have been doing this for something like six years now, a lot of it just sort of does itself now because of how I have it set up. Plus, I got the hardest part out of the way already - the schedule grids. They are at this point about 99% complete, until whatever changes get here today. Then it's just a matter of text editing (yay, Matt and
eugie are helping me with that!) and then doing all the typesetting.
I still have to finish the Dead Dog Party tickets too. Blah!
Could someone build me a Tardis? PLEASE??
