The Eye of the Beholder
Mar. 22nd, 2004 12:56 pmMy hair no longer cascades past my waist... it hasn't for some time now, but neither does it flow to the middle of my back, or even my shoulderblades. As of Saturday, it barely touches my shoulders. Part of me misses the long flowing locks, the awe that carrying such a full head of hair seemed to inspire in people, the rest of me is overjoyed that I don't have weight related headaches, and that washing my hair no longer takes 30 minutes. You can run your fingers thru it without me cringing or quietly ouching over it. It's very curly now, I guess that's what happens when you take away the effects of gravity. To say it's cute would be a vast understatement. It makes me smile, and what could be more wonderful than that?
