Toner Test for TokyoPop
Sep. 10th, 2004 10:53 amFirst, let me thank all of you for the thoughtful comments on my previous post. I haven't left D*C yet, and as I said, it's probably more my way of dealing with having such an unpleasant time.
So, as most of you know, David and I are both unemployed. Somehow, my creditors do not see this as a valid reason not to get paid. So, the job search continues, and hopefully BEFORE our savings runs out one of us will be gainfully employed once more. I applied for a job as a toner for TokyoPop. For those of you that don't know what a toner is, pop open a convenient comic book, manga preferred and look at all the beautiful art in B&W halftones. Toners are the people that make all the white line art prettiful. Behind the cut-tag, you can see the toner test I did for TokyoPop.
( Tone Test: )
I am posting it for a couple of reasons. One, please tell me what you think, especially if you see something that can be approved upon. And two, because I think it's pretty good, I want people to see it, and hopefully other comic/manga type people and give me a job, please. So feel free to send many people here to look at my toning skills! :D
That's all for now - oh and a hearty F*U to the person that relieved Room 219 of the blue soft sided HP lunchbag containing the hard drive to my laptop.
