Mutton anyone?
Aug. 25th, 2003 08:56 amFrell. I am seriously ticked off this morning.
It's been slowly building up, and my long, long fuse has been getting shorter and shorter and shorter. I am about two seconds from just ripping some of the "fans" at Dragon*Con a new... well, you know.
I love the way they think we are all profit mongers and that we go out of our way to make things difficult for them.
If you hate the Con so damn much, think we are charging too much, never ever get YOUR favorite person to come (even if thye don't do cons at all, or better were just here last year) well, here's a novel concept: DON'T GO!
And while you are at that, stop whining about when we have it, where we have it, who we have at it, what we have going on at it, and why we have it. If you can do such an all fired damn good job, then get off your frellin' ass and run your own damn con.
I am trying to remain nice and pleasant with them, because well they ARE the fans, and without them we wouldn't have a con. Yes, I know, 90-95% of them really do appreciate all the hard work we do, and think the con is a great and wonderful thing. However, some of them make it hard as hell to want to do anything at all for any of them. grrrr
Meanwhile, I am quickly running out of time before Dragon*Con gets here.
It's a weird place I am in with Dragon*Con, I am looking forward to the actual Con because it's going to be the first time I have gotten to go enjoy it. But at the same time, I want it to hurry up and be over with so I can get on to all the things I want to do with my life.
By the way, in case you missed it, I am not feeling very zen or balanced today.
Were it not going to take 2-3 hours out of my day, I would head down to Mo Mo Ya and try and just relax. Oh well, back to making signs, because you know, I only put all those maps in the Pocket Program because I had nothing better to do.
