It seems that my website has somehow gone on holiday...

I have contacted the admin for my server, but no answer so far. Hopefully it will be back soon. Just thought I would let you all know I didn't voluntarily trash it. :)

By the way, I am about to do something that for me constitutes a leap of faith, so if I seem on edge, it's because I am.

Serious question, requesting serious answers:

If money were inconsequential, and you had no fear, what would you do?

Eep! Not good. This seems to be the week for technology to go all snaffu-like and wonky. It's demons. Demons!

Honestly? I think I'd just quit my job and buy some of the stuff I've been putting off buying, fixing up some of the stuff in the house we've been putting off fixing up, and then I'd focus on doing the fun/life affirming things I do now: spending time with Matthew and Hobkin, writing, hanging out with loved ones, going to more conventions, etc.

Money buys my time and chunks of my life via my day job, but it's a trade I'm willing to make as it pays for the things I enjoy in life. Without the need to sell my time, I think I'd just do more of the things I do when I'm not on the clock.

Guess I've got some fairly simple tastes . . .

1. Travel the world and establish alternate homes in the parts that really appealed.

2. Buy beautiful acreage and build house. Set it up as a Pagan sanctuary.

3. Build and run a Pagan community center/school

I think time is what we spend to get money through our jobs or other ventures. So, with infinite money I would do more of the things I enjoy doing with my time plus help the people I love and causes I support. Here's my top ten list:

1) Travel, travel, travel... and I would take my friends and my family with me on many of my adventures. My mom has always wanted to see Hawaii, so I would definitely take her there and I would love to show her Ireland.
2) A house in Ireland and a condo in downtown Atlanta (to share with laluna7609)
3) I would also like to build a Pagan community center to support activities next door to...
3) A pagan coffee shop, book store, game store, holistic health center, performance hall, so after getting a massage I could read a good book or play a game while drinking an espresso and listening to Emerald Rose
4) I would buy a large plot of land to build houses (a bit apart, of course) for my close friends and circle family. Close is good, too close is bad. A large hot tub and in-ground pool would be nice as well as an enclosed outdoor shower (because I'm a shy girl, but I love showering under the stars)
5) I would read and write more
6) I would finance Emerald Rose's future ventures in whatever way would help--better instruments and equipment, a spiffy real tour bus, and promotion, promotion with a lot of distribution.
7) I would set up feywords and her husband in a company where they could produce games and anything else their creative hearts desire.
8) I would set up college scholarships at several places that are near and dear to my heart to help people of all ages and backgrounds to obtain a better future.
9) I would buy out the Inserection store next door to the Shakespeare Tavern so Jeff and co. could expand and offer more and better seating, as well as anything else they need (but I want a table in the front for me and laluna7609)
10) Lots of electronic stuff--a better equipped kitchen, surround sound, TV, and computer. I am a gadget girl after all.

So, I guess I would travel, set up several homes, help people that I love and those that are trying to make their lives better as well as providing the world with damn good celtic pagan music and Shakespeare performances.
