cassy_gI somehow forgot to post this, maybe because it's going to break my heart to think about it for more than 2 min... but...
My cats, Jasmine and Maggie are in dire need of a good loving home. As most of you know, I can NOT take them with me to Columbus for a couple of reasons. Reason 1, my mother HATES cats and is almost vicious towards them. Reason 2, she will NOT allow them to live indoors and neither of them have ever lived outdoors. Reason 3, one of the biggest, they have an Australian Shepard that really REALLY doesn't care for cats that do not worship her. See reason 2 for why they would not worship a dog.
So, both of them need a good home, a loving home, and indoor home. Not necessarily together as they have an understanding between the two of them that this is my half - THAT way way WAY over there is YOUR half.
I would prefer someone that is willing to foster them for approximately 1 year. I would of course supply some funding to keep them fed and cared for, as well as pay for medical expenses. I will however relinquish them if it is what I have to do in order to ensure they have a good home.
Jasmine is 12 years old, Maggie is 9 years old. Both have been fixed, though I will need to have their shots updated before they go. They are both negative for feline leukemia, feline HIV, etc. They do not have fleas, or any other illness that I am aware of. Maggie DID recently have an emergency spaying as she developed a sever interuterine infection. She has subsequentially lost a lot of weight (which was good, but not the way she lost it!) She now weighs approximately 8 lbs, Jasmine weighs approximately 5 lbs.
Jasmine is very shy at first, but once she gets to know you is very loving and affectionate. She especially loves to lay on your lap while you are working on a computer, or watching television (providing Maggie isn't already there!) Maggie has some mood swings, though they have calmed dramatically since her spaying. She was a feral kitten, and sometimes has some special moments. However, she loves sleeping ON me at night, and wants to be in my lap as often as possible - very affectionate and loving to anyone almost immediately.
If you, or anyone you know can help me with finding a good home for my babies, I would appreciate it more than I could say.
