Wow, the last few days...

Well, let's see...

I survived the rheumatic episode I was having after the party I went to Saturday evening. It was completely gone by Tuesday, yay! Just in time for me to go to Border Pagans. To summize, Border Pagans is a a very diverse and interesting group of pagans here in Atlanta that meet at Border's bookstore once a week. (Oh, and yes, there are pagans in Atlanta for those of you that have been lost under a rock somewhere, or thought maybe you were the only one.)

My friend (and neighbor) chalice66 was there. I got to see her twice in one week! It's sad that she lives four houses away and I seem to have to drive halfway across the city to see her (through no fault of her own I should add).

Yesterday, I went to lunch with my friend drcat. I had a fantastic time. I find him very calming just to be around, and considering all the Dragon*Con stress in my life at the moment it was more helpful than I can possibly say.

And speaking of Dragon*Con stress, I had a program/schedule meeting last evening, it went well, but I have gotten 75 emails in the last 4 days with changes, etc that I have to somehow sort through. It's a little frustrating. I will be so happy after this year's Con because David is going to redesign the database to make it easier for me to manage.

Talked to gossamyrrh finally, looks like she's going to be moving close to me in about two months. Yay! For those that don't know Gossamyrrh and I have been best friends for... *eep* 19 years! Wow... Anyway, best friends, and she's about the closest thing to a sister that I have... so I can't wait for her to live over here! Now, if I can just find a way to get her to go swimming with me... muhahaha

Well that about covers current events... the less tangible stuff will have to just wait until I catch up on the D*C stuff... :)

I heart with the sympathy on the schedule changes. I have people constantly asking me if I've heard anything, and I imagine that if I'm ready to flick at them, you probably have ten times the people doing so and are going insane. *hugs*

I guess it wouldn't be so bad if there weren't (eep!) 20 directors with schedules... I do have to say that the vast majority of them are quite easy going (you included), and very tolerant of this being my first year.

I think the biggest problem is knowing there's a more efficient way to do all this (hence, new database for next year) and not being able to use it this year. :)

No worries though, with my personal philosophy, I believe that the chaos is there so I can not only have calm, but appreciate it when it comes.
